Jemima House is a beautiful, modern, Nursery based within the Ermine Street Church Academy. Run by a local provider with over two decades of experience in offering homely and child-orientated Nursery care, Jemima House is led by a manager with over 35 years of early years experience in a variety of roles including assessing the practice of settings for the Pre-school Learning Alliance (recently renamed Early Years Alliance), an NVQ assessor, Family Worker and of course early years practice and management. Together they aim to employ a team of the very best practitioners to ensure that Jemima House is a place that children thrive and achieve their potential and parent/carers can be sure that their children's happiness and well-being is as important to us as is it is to them.
We are proud for the Nursery to be a bespoke and purpose-built space, in which each child can learn, develop and grow as they engage in meaningful play. Beautifully-equipped, safe and stimulating indoor and outdoor spaces aim to provide a wealth of learning opportunities for all three of our age groups, and with our close proximity to the Foundation Stage classes of the adjoining school we are excited to be able to offer a seamless transition for children when they leave us to start 'big school'.
We at Jemima House place the health, happiness and well-being of our little ones as paramount, and look to care for each child in the unique and special way each of them so rightly deserves. We are passionate about supporting children not only to achieve each of their developmental milestones, but also to become strong, confident and happy children who are open-minded and curious about the world around them. With the Early Years known to be some of the most important in any individual's life, we hope to support children in reaching their full potential in the most natural and holistic way possible.
